GJSCI welcomes you to participate in WorldSkills India competition for wild card entry.

In July, 2016, we identified 3 competitors from the IndiaSkills Competition to represent India for Worldskills, 2017 in Abu Dhabi.

Now we are giving a second chance for those young skilled artisans, who could not be the part of IndiaSkills, 2016.

Three winners from the wild card entry competition will compete with the 3 contenders and one among them will get a chance to go to Abu Dhabi for the WorldSkills Competition 2017 to represent India.

REGISTRATION

• Registration to be done online on http://www.indiaskillscompetition.com/
  • Click on Wild Card Entries to start registration process
• Opening date for the registration: - 17th September, 2016.
• Closing date of the registration: - 30th September, 2016.

PRELIMINARY ROUND

• Candidates will refer to the design in ‘Test module – Preliminary round (wild card)’ and make the jewellery piece in silver only and send it to the following address along with duly filled application form.
• Grau Bar Design Studios,
  22/23, Sajan Nagar. Lane no 2,
  House no. 34, Indore , 452 001.
• All pieces of the preliminary round to be received by 13th October, 2016.
• Results of the 1st round will be declared by 15th October, 2016.

FINAL ROUND

• Shortlisted candidates from the preliminary round will go to Indore for the Final round.
• Date for the Final round in Indore are from 18th October, 2016 upto 25th October, 2016.
• Results of the Final round will be declared by 27th October, 2016.

Please note the following:

• Candidates who participated the India Skills Competition in July, 2016 are not eligible to participate in the Wild Card entry competition.
• There is no ‘Entry fee’ to enter the competition.
• The jewellery piece has to be crafted in Silver metal only. No jewellery piece will be accepted apart from silver.
