Code of ethics
This is to inform to all that Certified Training Partners, while conducting any services with GEM & JEWELLERY SKILL COUNCIL OF INDIA, and its employees or representatives of council in the course of dealings/working for any type of enrollment or certification process should not undertake:
- Any favours, any gifts (in cash and kind), sponsorship or any entertainment that is outside normal business dealings. Where any favours, gifts etc. have been given to any employees of GJSCI will be termed as unlawful and may result in cancellation of affiliation on immediate grounds without any refund and justification offered.
- Any other business or personal arrangements (outside MOU terms and conditions) with any GJSCI employee or representatives, either directly or indirectly through other associated companies or partnerships/ arrangements without our knowledge or authorized by us.
- Not try to influence the decision of any GJSCI employee or representative in an unethical or coercive manner.
- Will disclose forthwith any breach of the code that comes to our knowledge.
Training partners undertakes that during the term of the Agreement and for a period of 12 (Twelve) months after termination or expiry of the Agreement, it shall not, directly or indirectly, including without limitation by assisting others, solicit, recruit, induce or attempt to persuade the employment of any person then engaged by GJSCI as an employee, officer, director, independent contractor, agent or consultant, or was so engaged at any time within the immediately preceding 6 (Six) months also such employment opportunity treated as unlawful as per prescribed norms of GJSCI Governing council.
GJSCI will have right to change or modify the contents of above at any point of time and the same would be abide to Certified Training Partners.
In case TP use the Confidential Information of GJSCI or knowledge of its intellectual property in relation to any other activity or undertaking in any manner whatsoever, directly or indirectly, the Training Partner will be liable for legal action taken by GJSCI.
